The adjustable arm with extension is nice too for mounting areas where a shorter mount wouldn't work

The arm angle pivot works well with the locking knob, the arm extend in/out easily, and the mount holds the GPS steady unless the car is going over rough roadway

I had been using a vent mount, but worried that it might break toe plastic blades on the vent if accidentally hit.
