The only downside I have experienced is the positioning of the armrest makes difficult for my child to buckle the seat-belt.

The seatbelt holder could be larger so it doesn't constantly twist the belt.

Graco did a nice job including both a backless seat belt strap for big kids and a seat belt guide that adjusts with the head support, but the latter makes it difficult for my 7 year old to buckle her own seat belt

big kids can easily buckle (my oldest has been doing it since age 4), just check for belt tightness and/or twists, establishes good habits at a very early age10

It stays in place and holds the belt in place so that my 4 year old can buckle herself quickly!
