• Reviews around roam (4.09 of 5)

    Grand Theft Auto IV

    • You can free roam with friends or pit each other in a fight to the death
    • What's worse is, the main story seriously ruins all of the "free roaming" fun you used to have in GTA
    • but if you just want to free roam with a friend in multiplayer, that's ALL you get to do
    • Yup, this game has many multiplayer options on Xbox Live, from deathmatches to races or even just free roaming.
    • People say San Andreas is better because of free roam, in my opinion the free roam was just a pain, having to take that boring 6 minute drive just to get to the other side of the map
    • GTAIV does face a challenge that how much free roaming and flexible this new world is
    • Free roam is some serious fun although I do wish they had added some more customization options that you could turn on or off for free mode, maybe to give you different things you can do (I.E. Zombie
    • My friends said there were hot rods, and it turned out to be muscle cars, which I love, but I wanted multiplayer free roam with 49 Mercury or Chevy, pickups, and other things, not just a Charger, which I am not so fond of compared to pickups or Chevelles, but still a great game for the multiplayer activities and shinanigans you can get into by blowing up friends when they have their favorite cars with an RPG.

    • Along with a few fun things to do on the side, there is the online multiplayer (which takes a lot of getting used to), challenging achievements, and better free roaming.
    • Free roaming is no longer fun if I have to do it at a snails pace
    • I think it's best on XBOX, but most game modes aren't played much besides free roam, so just be aware.
    • just free roaming around messing...lol
    • Let me explain...free roam games like this should, in theory, give you the option of progressing on the path YOU choose, not bogged down by some random mission (races that are damn near impossible to beat, flying some remote control helicopter for some random task, etc) that you find yourself spending hours trying to solve.
    • The country-side in GTA San Andreas was really a plus for me, and while I still miss roaming around aimlessly in the country, don't make the mistake of thinking that this is the same Liberty City you played in GTA III, because it is not
    • Free roaming is just about dead due to the story constantly keeping you busy, and the missions are old and familiar, but not in a good way
    • The free roaming gameplay (you can go anywhere you want in the city and do anything you want) makes this game so fun and never ever boring
    • GTA is the most fun you will have in a free roaming
    • The free roam, do whatever you want world that we all love about this series is taken online, with the city full of people engaged in whatever random activity they choose
    • Free roaming is just about dead due to the story constantly keeping you busy, and the missions are old and familiar, but not in a good way
    • You and some friends can start a Free Roam game and do whatever you want
    • There's a rock station featuring Iggy freakin' Pop as the foul-mouthed DJ, classic hip-hop and R&B, smooth jazz, techno, LCHC (Liberty City HardCore), and even an all Bob Marley station just to name a few.
    • El mejor juego del año 2008 super recomendado
    • Having driven cars in GTA3-GTA San Andreas, as well as in other games involving driving, and Saints Row 2, as well as even driving in real life, it is safe and believable for me to say:THE DRIVING IN GTAIV DOES NOT COME ANYWHERE CLOSE TO REALITY.
    • There are many "improvements" to the game that supposedly enhances the experience, but they really only suck the fun out of the game as I mentioned earlier
    • Son love it he says it works fine , so what eles can I say but it is still working as of today
    • Which also makes him run just as fast as though nothing is going on
    • and that's too bad as that's
    • This game may not look nearly as good as some of its contemporaries, but they did the absolute most they could with it.
    • With a whole lot more polish, mid-mission checkpoints and far less repetition, GTA IV would deserve the accolades and commercial success it has enjoyed as of late
    • This game is DEEP.Honestly, if you like video games or digital entertainment of any kind then this as good as it gets.
    • Rated M (mature over 17) - language and extremely graphic for XBox 360.
