I tried on a cheap pair of tinted glasses from a friend, and i found Gunnar to be way better than those.
Problem was the cheap lens which made everything blurryThe J&S felt like a quality product but they felt a little tight on my bridge and the lens weren't as clear as the GunnarThe Gunnar Intercept was very tight against the sides of my head and the bridge was a little too small
It took me a couple days to get used to the Gunnar Optiks glasses -- they brighten the screen in a way that makes my eyes not have to work as hard
My eyes still dry out and hurt just as quickly as they do without wearing them.

The glasses work as advertised, and in addition to reducing eye strain, they also have a weak prescription that magnifies computer text slightly

SURE you buy Gunnar glasses that are yellow-tinted, as the alternative more normal-looking clear tint does NOT block out the high frequency light which is why these glasses make you feel more comfortable looking at the computer

If you are looking for something of the sort, these would be the best.

Hallelujah!I like the style, I like the color, I like the quality… works for me!
Makes the eyes very comfortable to see the screen especially for looking at the bright colors
The yellow tint to the glasses, also give the feel of brighter colors
The purple color was nice and somewhat conservative (for a purple).
You'll notice that I mentioned a few maps on Call of Duty, These glasses work under conditions where harsh colors cause more strain on your eyes than others

The only problems I find are the plastic resting on my nose and keeping the lenses clean
They clean the lenses better than anything else I've tried
Keeping the lenses clean is nearly impossible as one little smudge will leave oils that almost never come off.
It is annoying how the lenses fog up and smudge easily, but I'm not going to dock this product because I assume this is a consequence of the humidity they create around your eyes
The lenses are great for computer use, and they look cool

For those of you will smaller heads, these will probably work out better for you
Another problem is frame is too tight and uncomfortable, although it is good for long computer usage but the dilemma is you can't wear it for longer duration because head will start to hurt (uncomfortable frame)
Since there is no flex to the frame whatsoever, beware buying these unless you also have a small head and a lot of superglue lying around.
The only issue with mine is the arms are too narrow and hurt my head after a while - spend the money on ones with sprung arms if you're gonna be wearing them a lot

Update edit: To continue off of the point that these were tight around my head, they no just recently cracked in the frame of the glasses which sucks, thus the reason I'm knocking down another star.
After a while of using them they start to make your eyes feel worse than they did before, pretty odd, so 2 stars deducted for build quality and effectiveness.
I want to give these glasses a 5 star because they worked great until the arm snapped when putting them on one day
I wish they had lighter frames, which is why I knocked off one star

I want to really like these glasses, but, the main fault in them is the hard plastic nose bridge
They pinch the bridge of my nose and temples a bit
(This material is NOT superglue friendly)I originally gave these a 5 star because they did in fact reduced eye strain but after this unfix-able damage I'm not sure what what my next step should be since it's past the 1 year warranty.
The glasses fit fine but the hard plastic bridge allows them to slide down your nose slightly, sometimes making it awkward to adjust them mid fire fight

It's usually a weak spot for me to be able to pick movement out of the dark areas.
I can only wear them for about an hour before I need to wear them oddly to move them from the sore spots they created behind my ears.
The color wasn't bad, in fact it reduced the glare same as from a screen, but the diffusion of the light made bigger fuzzy blind spots around oncoming traffic in darker places on the road

I do not suffer from the chronic eye fatigue that plagued me for months.
If you feel eye fatigue from staring at computers all day, these will definitely help.
