The only thing to be cautious about (and this is fairly obvious), but the outside metal heats up pretty hot, so it needs to be handled by the handle and use caution when touching the lid as the steam escapes.

Caution: Do not exceed water fill limit as it will leak, water boils quick enough to repeat boiling within a reasonable amount of time.
