I had done a lot of research and read numerous bad reviews about the product, but I have had many Hamilton Beach appliances over the years, and have been happy with them, so I wanted to see for myself if this would work for me

Most of the negative reviews seemed to be about the different heating elements not working properly, but I am wondering if people who have had that complaint don't seem to fully understand that ovens go through cycles and the heating elements turn on and off to maintain a set temperature, so just because all the heating elements are not lit all at the same time constantly, doesn't mean that the oven is malfunctioning

Like you all, I read allllllll the reviews about the rear heating element issue before ultimately buying this toaster.

Most reviews refer to one of the heat bars not working... that bar does not get bright red because it aint supposed too...

After reading several reviews about the lower back element not working I was apprehensive about buying one.

Amazon locks the review (probably fake) that says it's not supposed to glow red because they're probably tired of this defective product that Hamilton Beach won't take the time to research and repair
