Hamilton Beach (48465) Coffee Maker with 12 Cup Capacity & Internal Storage Coffee Pot, Brewstation, Stainless Steel

    • Water tank is awkward when pouring into coffee maker and it is hard not to spill water onto counter.
    • If you've never used this type of coffee maker (w/o carafe), you'll need to read the instructions on how to fill it up with water (you will need to remove both the coffee basket and the tank for coffee collection, then fill up the water tank).Coffee brewed in this maker tastes wonderful
    • This new design with the open water tank is perfect.
    • I fill the water tank with my kitchen sink faucel spray and I often make more coffee before the previous batch is completely gone.
    • My only knock might be that you have to take the filter basket out and put it somewhere in order to pull out the water tank to empty or fill it
    • The others had a removable water tank mounted on the side of the machine, and I experienced leaking from both of those models
    • Also more difficult than traditional coffee pots, to lift the water tank off, clean and refill.
    • My previous problem with this coffee maker was that it did not have the cup calibrations inside the water tank.
    • Coffee pieces will fall into the water tank and clog up the pump
    • The water tank is under the coffee grounds
    • Easy to program and easy to fill water tank
    • I ordered the Hamilton Beach coffee maker because it had a "Removable water tank; water-level indicator; dishwasher-safe parts.
    • The water tank has an indicator that tells you how much water you put in and the coffee reservoir has a little window that tells you how much coffee is in it
    • The newer design is much sleeker and I like being able to eye the water tank, which the new design offers
    • A couple months after buying our Brewstation it started leaking coffee from the water tank and down the front.
    • While this coffee maker is basically the same as the old one, it has been redesigned slightly with the water tank in the bottom of the unit rather that at the back.
    • Hard to fill the water tank, I had to pull the unit all the way out to the edge of the counter to pour the water in
    • I am trying to find out if the water tank can be immersed in hot soapy water
    • I bought this to retire the newer model with the removable water tank on the side, which suffers from water ponding inside the coffee maker.
    • Bought the newer model payed more because it says the water tank can be washed
    • The "water tank is NOT REMOVABLE which is why i chose this particular model versus the older model I had which did not have a removable water tank.
    • Where do they get off in saying the "water tank is removable???
    • The Amazon listing also says, “Removable water tank; water-level indicator; dishwasher-safe parts”, but the instructions specifically say to hand wash the inner tank
    • The removable water tank is easy to fill & pour, much easier for me to handle than a glass carafe and no mess.

    • First is that you use the coffee reservoir to fill the water tank and the little spout where the water comes out tends to drip a bit of water on our counters if you don't pour it exactly right
    • The only complaint I would have is that although it does fit perfectly under my cabinet, I have to pull it all the way to the edge of my counter when I am removing the basket and used coffee grounds, as well as when I am setting it up with fresh coffee and grounds.
    • This is hard to clean up as we have a tile and grout counter top and the coffee stains the grout
    • I hope to enjoy this one as long as I enjoyed my first machine!
    • I don't like a of clutter on my countertop and this filled the bill.
    • This one has all the great features described and makes a great pot of coffee in a flash... as well as keeps it warm without scalding it.
    • Hamilton Beach sent me a lovely e-mail telling me how great their company was, and it's still on Amazon

    • Very disappointed because unless you buy a single serve machine with expensive k-cups, there isn't anything out there like this
    • It dispenses like a Keurig without all the expensive k-cups.
