The coffee maker makes good coffee though, and I haven't broken the carafe (because it's not glass) but a bit more testing and design work on the pour spout could have made a big difference.
-
I bought this because I assumed that the carafe would keep the coffee warmer longer, but it's really cheaply made
-
5/4/2018I will NEVER break another carafe!
-
I have to say that while all I really knew when I started looking was that I wanted something compact and a coffee maker with a stainless steel carafe (as I tend to chip the glass carafe on the faucet more times than I care to admit
-
It's a fantastic coffee maker, my biggest gripe is the carafe, it drips whenever I pour it no matter how I do it
-
I like how light the carafe is, easy to pick up and pour
-
This new aroma express replaced another that I got 20 years ago, the new model is much more compact in size, still a 5 cup capacity, the carafe has improved with better pouring design at the spout
-
I like the stainless carafe and do not have the dripping problems others mention
-
Not a solid carafe
-
No frills and stainless carafe made me buy it.
-
This is a handy small coffee maker with a stainless steel carafe that works well at my office
-
The coffee make works well but the stainless carafe is just too small compared to the normal glass pot
-
First of all, the carafe is a very thin metal and cheaply made, no thicker than a tin can-not like the sturdy Cuisinart carafe
-
Love it, just the right amount of coffee, cannot break the carafe and the coffee is blistering hot which I also love.
-
I like the unbreakable stainless steel carafe
-
My real problem with this coffee maker is the drippy, messy carafe

The version I got has a stainless steel carafe, which is good because you do not need to worry about breaking it
-
Great size love the stainless carafe
-
To find the simple features that I wanted (4-5 cup capacity, no programming, stainless steel carafe), I had found the (now deceased) Aroma Elite from an outside vendor (Green Tree Coffee & Tea, fine folks BTW & excellent customer service), through Amazon
-
full Carafe , I always spill coffee over the edge more then needed (bad shape carafe).I also would like to have heavier bottom for this carafe, so that coffee would not burn so fast.**5/31/17

The stainless steel carafe is more durable and aesthetic than the glass carafe, I recommend it
-
The stainless carafe is a great

Love that the carafe is stainless instead of glass

When I saw this model with the Stainless carafe I figured it would be better suited for use in my shop/
-
and I don't have to worry about breaking the carafe.

I purchased it mostly since I needed smaller size and stainless steel Carafe .However when you start pouring out of
-
The carafe doesn’t fit properly, will not fill properly without water going everywhere and my actual carafe had leaks in it
-
Stainless carafe keeps you from buying a whole new coffee maker when you break a glass one that the replacement costs as much as another coffee maker.
-
Have broken many glass carafes.
-
My problem arose out of the flimsy carafe, which broke while I was washing it
-
Carafe can't break (it is not insulated but the coffeemaker has a hot plate)
-
It has an on light and that and the small carafe make it good for me.
-
Absolutely LOVE the stainless carafe, I refuse glass with teenagers around 😊
-
I find that using the coffee pot with the stainless steel carafe (versus my previous similar model with glass carafe) makes the coffee taste different, and the carafe stains badly.
-
So I guess I'll have to find a reliable glass carafe brewer
-
but the carafe is impossible to pour without making a big mess.
-
The carafe cracked.
