The sound quality isn't as great as it would be with an aux cable, which is why it does not get 5 stars.

You can hear static at quiet points in a song as well as when nothing is playing, but overall, if you max out the volume on your phone, the device itself, and control the master volume with your car volume knob it will sound pretty decent
