when it doesn't it has horrible static that ruins the music

Occasionally there is some background hum/static at low listening volume.

The Bluetooth radio part works, but has static, the hands free phone works but to the other party you are talking

I do hate that the quality of the music isn’t as good as when you use a AUX

You can hear static at quiet points in a song as well as when nothing is playing, but overall, if you max out the volume on your phone, the device itself, and control the master volume with your car volume knob it will sound pretty decent
