There is very little space between TV and wall and any cables inserted straight into the port will not allow the TV to rest on the wall and probably break the cable after a few days due to being pressed between the two.

Took maybe 15-20 minutes to hang my 40 lb 42" TV and hookup all my cables

I hung a 55" LED TV using this on a wall where it was not possible to use other mounts

Attaching cables to the backside was also easy as you can tilt the tv while it is already hanging.

Apparently, there are a couple of standard distances, and you'll be in good shape as long as your TV doesn't exceed that.

Best thing about this wall hanging design compared to others is the slide factor, if you missed centering the TV, the bar allows you to move the TV either to the right/left.

I don't know why this isn't the most popular way to hang your TV!
