Banner is made of fleece like material and had a lot of loose strings hanging that I had to cut

The enclosed black string was unravelling and had no obvious way to be attached to either the banner nor the rod itself.

Good looking banners for a Harry Potter - theme room, just very cheaply made...lots of loose strings and uneven edges to trim and one of the caps from the end of the hanging rod was missing.

There was no supporting rod or hanging string

I did however have difficulty putting the strings on to the plastic holders to of the ends actually broke
