The plastic that the end screws self bore into is not confidence inspiring.

The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because The case itself feels like cheap plastic

I put the same HD in a cheap plastic enclosure, donated by a friend, made by Kingston, and it worked perfectly

The build quality shows, it doesn't doesn't feel like cheap plastics but rather sturdy

The screws that hold the access section to the case are seated in a space with very easily warped plastic

the combined plastic-back+drive sled piece back out from the metal case, leaving the front plastic piece untouched

It is not as clear as my factory installed camera in my van, but it works as it should.

but you sacrifice simple portability, despite that this keyboard is thin and compact as it is

the picture noisy (as they all are) but is fine for backing up, even in full darkness

What can I say, it worked as it was designed.

Wont ding the camera for that as it might well be the wires or my screen itself

Its definitely hit or miss as to whether you get a functioning one
