I like the way the stand collapses for easy transport

and it make a nice way to keep the instruments from falling off of a chair or stand while you are playing one of the others

For someone with multi instruments this is a great way to keep them together and be able to pick them right up and start playing instead of taking them apart and putting them back into the cases

If you are buying this for a flute, I suggest also purchasing an extra "Telescoping Peg" because it will not make your flute lean as much as on these pegs
