The drawers are smooth, looks nice, not industrial quality but decent for home use
I purchased it after reading it's many positive reviews and am now scratching my head wondering if lousy quality is what we as consumers are now accustomed to expecting.
For the money, I think this filing cabinet is the best bargain, especially due to its sturdy construction.
This is a sturdy, well made file cabinet that moves as easily fully loaded as it does empty--and it was much cheaper on Amazon than at Office Depot!
Cheaper file cabinets can dent very easily, which I had previously experienced and wanted to avoid, but this cabinet's construction is thicker, slightly heavier, than others.
I did a lot of shopping and finally decided on this one because of the sleek look
I wanted a really nice file cabinet for the spare room I had recently redecorated, which I turned into a guest bedroom / office combo, and this one is perfect: sleek and modern looking, yet simple and not over the top.
cheap looking; arrived dented ... not for display in a home (does not have a matte finish as picture shows either)
