LEDs have a life rating before they die just like incandescents but unlike incandescents, as they reach the end of their life, they will completely dim

The light is warm as described, not a harsh fluoro white that the normal white LEDs are capable of

It's a lot easier than having to unplug the power every time you want to turn them off and also lets you dim the LEDs because they are BRIGHT at max power

These LEDs were very bright easy to use and were excellent for the price

I'm now thinking of tons of different uses for these little strips of super bright LEDs.

I bought four tapes LED two months ago, but so far three of the tapes have already burned LEDs, these tapes are lit on average 3 hours a day, presumably with 50000 hours lifetime LED should be affected assuming quarterly to end of all LEDs 50,000 hours of each tape will have burned

So far after having them up for a week, there are currently 31 dead leds on the strip and 7 more blinking.

A quarter of a watt does not sound like much but it lights up a room enough to prevent you from tripping over the furniture in the dark!A 10 'minimum strip' segment (30 LEDs) is easily bright enough to read by, uses 2.4 watts and produces almost no heat

All in all very nice bright LEDs and having 3M backing was a huge bonus for lighting just about anything with these low profile lights.

These dim noticeable as the LEDs get further from the power supply

I installed 2 rolls of this and there were no individual defective LEDs

So i bought the bright white leds in water proof style and mounted them to some corner bead i had laying around and wired then to my interior lights in the van

3 yrs light every night for accent lighting and all leds are still bright

I install expensive Hafele brand leds in custom kitchens, displays, and coves and these hitlights have NOTHING on them

The LEDs are warm white as promised, but the light has a slightly acidic yellow quality compared to standard incandescent or halogen light

There was enough LEDs on the strip to do all that plus light my floorboards and still have some to spare

The white LEDs are MUCH brighter than the red, but using them in equal proportions resulted in quite pleasant appearance

I bought this product to place around my computer desk for some nice ambient lighting, the LEDs are bright, cool, and exactly what I needed!

Warm White LEDs are closer to a fluorescent look to me.
