Hodge Silk Clarinet Swab - Black

    • I could be wrong about this, but, in any case, the lighter, gentler weight of a shoe string end is enough to pull the string through the shaft
    • The weight on the end of those ended up coming lose and being lost
    • There is a good weight at the bottom of the string that works well.
    • Anyway, great swab, the weight is perfect, and has a pretty minimalistic design which I like.
    • I cut off the weight at the end of the cord and replaced it with part of a shoe string because I'm afraid that a heavy weight continually knocking against the instrument might eventually slightly erode it
    • The weight on this one is not coated well enough with rubber, and I think it could scratch the inside of the bore
    • I like the triangular shape of this swab, and I like the metal weight at the end - it's a real metal weight, not just a plastic bead
