The sound of the Marine Band is good but the brass reed plates are exposed on the front of the instrument and have a sharp enough edge to cut you if you are not careful.
-
The 2 brass plates that are sandwiched between the chrome outer plates both had a very pronounced sharp edge that I had to file down to keep from cutting my lips.
-
The Lee Oskar harps I own have a smooth edge...and they are made in Japan!Aside from all of that this is a good sounding harmonica
-
great! The brass edges are a bit rough, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
-
No problems - works great - no rough edges

Once I relieved all of the (MANY) sharp edges and corners, it played very well, and sounds great
-
Had to burnish the sharp edges, which was not easy, since this model is held together with nails instead of screws, and is almost impossible for a lay-person to disassemble easily
-
And when taking down those sharp edges/corners, extreme care must be taken that no filings foul the reeds
-
The #2 (E) doesn't work, and the #1 (C) and #3 (G) are spotty, so no first C chord.

I then ordered a Blues Harp Minor G for $15.98, it's a great harmonica but also was sent the wrong key (Major G)
