For a beginner this is an excellent harp
-
This harp is pretty much the standard recommendation for beginners but as a beginner I prefer a couple of the other Hohner models
-
You can buy better, but if you aren't a hard core harp player, this is an excellent bang for your buck
-
The Special 20 is easy to disassemble and make adjustments to, and is a durable little harp
-
I had heard on a number of websites and Youtube.com videos, that the Honer Special 20 was a good harp, but once I played it,
-
If you are looking for a good beginner harp that has awesome sound then dont skimp out and get the Special 20 as I seem to be able to hit single notes better and bends are much easier with this baby.
-
Great harp
-
In my opinion Lee Oskar is a better quality harp.
-
this is a better Harp at a better price
-
This is a great sounding harp

-
I have been blowing harp for over 35 years.
-
This harp is a rather good one for the price, the sound is crisp and clear, it does well with bending and is extremely full in sound, It is easy to clean and manage
-
My first harp was a marine band and while it is still my favorite, i really like the plastic comb.
-
I suppose buyers (and sellers) should be aware of the difference since the packaging has the Marine Band as a higher-tier model, and that's what I was expecting, but both are great harps, and I'm having a blast with mine, so I won't be exchanging it.
-
Hohner makes a well-put-together instrument and I will enjoy this harp for some time
-
There is just one thing, it says that this harp is best for beginners, but I personally think that if you are a beginner you should get yourself an A harp, I have C harp, and it works well for me, but it's easier to learn playing on an A harp
-

-
The harp is just amazing - It plays well right out of the box

If you play a lot of straight harp like I do, the middle key note will eventually go flat so it might be a good idea to practice with a cheaper harp.

-
Didn't notice how bad the other harps actually sound until I got this one
-
Great harp
-
I was able to bend notes right away with this one, while other cheaper harps take a long time (or never) to break in properly
-
It takes a little time to break it in so you can bend notes, but it's a great starter harp that goes easy on your wallet.
-
This is a very nice harp, clean, bright sounding when you want it to be, plays fast and is responsive, and is sensitive to less air, similar to a Lee Oskar, as far as air needed for playing, or like a Golden melody
-

" It did take a little while to break in the special 20 before it played as easy and sweet as it's step brother- the American Ace
-
Key of C first, then an A, D, G...enjoy!
-
I am completely confused as to why they leave the edges of the plastic comb sharp.
