    Hohner Special 20 Harmonica, Major C

    • Early in my instruction, I blew out several reeds in my inexpensive ($3.00) harmonica and at that point decided to invest in a quality instrument
    • Another advantage of the plastic and metal construction is that if you do clog the reeds (by forgetting to get the moister out) you can wash the harmonica out with water
    • It doesn't jam the reeds, they keep playing steady and true
    • BUT, I think I got a faulty reed because it will stick when I draw the 3 hole.
    • I've blown out a few reeds on the Hohners over the years, but the Oskars haven't had any problems
