I heard a lot of good things about this harmonica but after a little bit of use, the 1st and 2nd reed always seem to be getting stuck

I didn't realize though that there are two types of Special 20's: the Hohner Special 20 Marine Band, and the Hohner Special 20 progressive, the latter being a newer model, which worried me, as I have heard so many positive things about the older model, I hoped that the Progressive would live up to the rave

reed plates are delicate things and very easy to mess up but if your very careful you should not have an issue

Personally I'd suggest learning on a cheaper Harmonicz just so you can appreciate this thing when you get more serious and buy

I've only been playing the harmonica for 2 months now after starting with a Hohner Golden Melody G that my mom gave me after my Dad passed away.

Key of C first, then an A, D, G...enjoy!

I then ordered a Blues Harp Minor G for $15.98, it's also a great harmonica but also was sent the wrong key (Major G)
