My bricks are old and misshapen and they worked everywhere

My brick was almost too small but it worked.

The clips do not grip the brick well and kept popping out.

Worked as mentioned, our brick was slightly taller than the clip, but my fiancé bent the metal spring parts, a little bit, to get it to latch on... with a screwdriver

If you have wider bricks (2 1/2"), its best to bend the "springy" part down a bit to make it easier to snap on the the brick

Make sure you measure your brick to get the right size and make sure you have a clean brick edge.
