If I'm going that route, there are better travel routers

I did have a few glitches along the way - at times, the router fell off the ship's network and when I tried to reconnect, it showed a little warning triangle and I had no way to find out what it meant.

The large battery is a great feature, which would have allowed me to back up anywhere, anytime, and the router and wi-fi options would also be great for sharing and browsing my photos later on.

Now, if you are like me and are looking for portable router device as main purpose, you will find that this device lacks in that department and will find it is just a terrible device that doesn't work with half of the wifi out there
