This thing is fantastic, easy setup plug and play; use a lot on road trips.

After I downloaded the app to manage the device and access the hard drive, I plugged my hard drive directly into the Tripmate, then connected directly to the Tripmate via a wireless connection (the unit acts as a wireless router), and am able to open all of the files from my hard drive on my ipad and iphone 5S. Pretty slick setup for sure.
