As soon as I plug the cord into the amp it has a nasty humming sound I plug the other side into the guitar thinking it would quiet it

Spend the money on a better cable these are cheap, sound fuzzy, and break easily.

Went and brought a better cable at the local music store and worked just fine without any buzzing or hissing sound

Sadly i think i received a faulty one, i had it for less than a day and it started to making crackling sounds and the volume of the signal was choppy and jumped around quite a bit

In order to get a clear sound, you have to have the cable positioned perfectly with no pressure on it
