Due to this smoothness and the delightful leather color, I did consider trying to remove the sharp points of the thread, but one of the metal connectors came with a tiny divot that caught the light every time I tilted my wrist to look at the Fitbit, and that tiny spec of light always flashing in my eyes would have driven me crazy

The outside color has remained strong, except on the little sliding rights that hold the end in place, which is expected since they are the most exposed

From the images it looks like some other colors do not have the suede texture, which would be a much more durable and long lasting choice.
