    HP 12CP Financial Calculator

    • The newest version is the first I would consider to replace my original, plus the newer version is faster.
    • The key strokes were not as pleasant and easy as the old version, but I could at least register with a hard press.
    • I highly recommend this version.
    • The HP12c Platinum (HP12cP version 1.0) has been improved since its released in 2003
    • I do strongly recommend the Platinum version
    • As good as the original version.
    • that's how good these things are -though the modern Chinese version is inferior in construction to the old American and Brazilian versions)
    • If I hadn't already had the improved version of the 12C, I never would have noticed the difference
    • The older versions of this calculator are far superior

    • The Plantinum version is nice
    • Also, this new version still has the well documented problems with dealing with real numbers instead of integers in some calculations.
    • The new version is faster and more comprehensive than past models.
    • Ain't nobody got time for that!"Some people mentioned the buttons are not as good as older version... maybe!
    • The first version was garbage
    • Ordering my 3rd HP 12C since I replaced my 1985 version which lasted until 2013 with absolutely no problems until I physically broke the 4 key by dropping something on top of the calculator.
    • Love this version
    • If you have one of the original 12CPs and you're unhappy with the keys, I can attest that this latest version is much improved and would be a worthy replacement.
    • However,it is evident that HP had listened to its customers negative feedback on its first half hearted attempt to upgrade the HP12C with the slow HP12cP version 1.0 released in 2004

    • By HP's literature, almost 6x faster, but the big deal here is that it is faster than the horrible Platinum 1.0 version which suffered in TVM calculations
    • New improved version of calculator I have used for 30 plus years.
    • And what's up with the clear ID pocket on the back side of it?
