HP 23.8-inch FHD IPS Monitor with Tilt/Height Adjustment and Built-in Speakers (VH240a, Black)

    • The brightness options are a bit too bright for me, but not bad enough to complain
    • Controls are a bit hard to navigate and use, but after set-up, you would unlikely need to keep adjusting.
    • Like a lot of IPS panels it has a little bit of backlight bleeding, but it’s only noticeable if the screen is black
    • This would get a higher star rating if Amazon had been a bit more helpful.
    • The feature of adjusting height and tilt is effortless, rotating is a bit trickier but doable too
    • The monitor sits a good 6"-8" higher than the rest of the monitors in the office, which is a bit odd
    • Sound is useless bit anyone who cares about sound has other speakers anyway.
    • They go into portrait mode, but I found them a bit uncomfortable to use like that since they're so wide
    • Received the unit and after installing realize that there is a persistent dead black spot near the middle of the screen, so I'm constantly feeling like there's a bit of something that needs cleaning off.
    • The manufacturer is misleading consumers a bit by using the term “178 degree viewing angle.”
    • The display itself is great; clear and bright, though glare from light can be a bit of a problem
    • I must admit I was a bit skeptical, but now that we have had a chance to use this backup camera, we are extremely pleased
    • Bothered me a bit but the cursor is even 10 times bigger than thegray dot
    • I was able to replace a Viewsonic that was 12 years old and still working but lately had started to flicker a bit
    • As a side note, it is also pretty dim for a modern monitor (my Macbook air screen can get quite a bit brighter than this monitor)
    • Controls were a bit difficult to manage but learning is always needed for them, so you should be fine
    • I am writing this today because after many months of this annoying bs, no matter how long I hold the HDMI cable and press it into the monitor, it will not connect, or I guess the monitor's jack for the HDMI cable is too loose
    • n’t have to worry about them not knocking over or anything
    • n’t feel like my eyes strain as bad as other monitors
    • n’t have to worry about them not knocking over or anything
