Great quality prints!

I am relatively tech savvy, but this prints only about 1/2 of the time for me, and the troubleshooting website is the worst

The owner's manual conflicts with a flyer included in the box regarding "HP Direct Print"

If the HP 1102w is anything like my ten year old, and still running HP 1020 (it looks the same) you'll get years of perfect, trouble free, cheap laser printing from all of your computers anywhere in your home or office.

I haven't figured out why but the printer is extremely slow when printing over the wireless network.

Connecting it to my wireless network was a little tricky, but it worked in the end and now the printer works perfectly and makes nice crisp prints

It does not have automatic double-sided printing, but that's to be understood in a cheaper printer; the manual double-sided printing worked alright, when it didn't jam up.

The HP is delightfully lacking in a low toner warning (I think I can tell when toner is low by print quality), and in most other ways works fine with good print quality.

Before purchasing this printer I read many negative reviews on how the wireless doesn't work, or bad print jobs, or even as far as a bad overall product.

Just like the old one we were forced to replace because HP in its wisdom decided it could sell new printers if it didn't offer an upgraded print driver that would work with the new version of Windows that we have in the computer that had to be replaced because MS decided it could sell more stuff if it forced users to buy new machines with it's 'improved' operating system (Windows 8=most annoying thing

I love printing from my laptop no matter where I am in my home.

The same series, (the 4000) a printer I own an HP 4100 circa 2002 has 212,000 prints runs like new because it has never had rebuilt toners, gets cleaned, replaced on simple parts and prints like new

It's fast, low priced and prints around 1600 pages ( depending on amount of print cover ) on a single $11 toner cartridge ( refurbished ).
