The printer works as expected, however when you have to scan, the software is very slow and on top of that you cannot run other program until the scanning software is not closed

Printer installation disc did not install printer and HP product support could not be downloaded due to faulty software.

Adobe Reader is the worst software ever created.

HP has, for decades, made some of the best hardware with the worst software in the industry

and the other one to fix the scanner configuration (caused by having two conflicting software products installed)

I also found the included photo editing software pretty useless and will be using my own

The software for this thing is a nightmare

I couldn't make the scanner working by installing the driver only, I had to install the software as well, which I usual prefer to avoid

the software is so bad, and so limited, that this product is nearly worthless

You would think that if it had any software conflicts or printing "bugs" they would be worked out by now, right??

Software is garbage

Their software is awful and their subscription ink programs are way too much money for what you'll get.

Scanning is overly complex, and everyday printing tasks are now seven steps instead of two since the software is not compatible with Chrome or other modern browsers.

I did not download ANY software whatsoever - it's unnecessary
