Of course I did see some serious battery drain on the video and game, but that's to be expected and it still lasted through the day
-
What I've been witholding, however, requires its own paragraph, and is what had annoyed me most about the HTC Desire 816:It came loaded with proprietary HTC software that insisted upon take-over the phone, installing HTC crapola on the home screen, more gimmicky, battery-draining, data-devouring HTC garbage on a slide-out panel, and a stock background preventing a custom one (such as the black one I use, to save battery power and see more easily)
-
The assortment of problems are frequent random app crashes, battery draining / not charging issues, calls & texts not going through until the phone gets restarted (which is about 3 times a week now)
-
The only issues I had so far was that, once in a while, the battery drains quicker than I hope, but then again, it's probably just trying to find service
-
The battery drains quite quickly if you are playing music/video (splitting hairs
-
(I have an app that reduces battery drain).
-
I, however, didn't hear much people (who gave positive feedback) that battery drain and GPS were problems
-
Loved it, although I would suggest not turning up the volume to loud as to avoid blowing out the speakers (especially the bottom one).
-
Run as fast as you can to any other phone but this one

I bought this phone for sale for $77 just over a year ago, and it has held up and performed as well as you could hope for the price
-
just as good as the galaxy s5 if not better.
-
I have longer than normal fingers and find it difficult to swipe as easily as in the past on my HTC Evo
-
Battery is what scared me a
-
I use it to take notes in church as well as in meetings at work and it works great.
