Huawei has created a watch out of solid stainless steel with an absolutely great display (400x400) on its sharp AMOLED screen covered by sapphire glass.

(I have found that some watch faces will leave an indicator at the bottom of the screen that you have a new notification even in ambient mode, but some will not, and I have yet to find a watch face that has this feature as well as a date displayed in ambient mode)

The display is very bright broken up into 5 levels, I keep it on level 2/5 unless I am out in bright daylight where level 3/5 is better

Of course, AMOLED displays aren’t quite as visible as e-paper in direct sunlight, and the Huawei Watch lacks an ambient light sensor (like the one “hidden” inside the Moto 360’s infamous Flat Tire) so the brightness won't automatically increase when you venture outdoors

Easy to use, lovely clear display

The display is gorgeous, and no "flat tire" like the Moto

Not a lot is enabled in the watch, watch is basically in the default mode, set to always on, which changes to a dimmer display after a few seconds.

First, the display simply isn't bright enough -- even at highest brightness level -- to be visible in bright sunlight.

The always-on dim display is also much more useful than I imagined, and I could never go back to Moto's always-off LCD screen

The Huawei Watch body itself (any variant) is constructed of cold-forged stainless steel with sapphire crystal for the display - solid materials which lend the Huawei Watch much-desired heft

While the Basis didn't have as many of the cool features, nor the color display, available with current smartwatches, I absolutely LOVED my Basis watch.

No flat tire, double the battery life, the always on AMOLED hardly wastes any battery, beautiful display, and it has a speaker

Love the watch, I have had it for around 5 months and it still works as it was the first day, very hard to scratch, when i hit the wall accidentally with the watch the wall chipped and nothing happened to the watch

The only thing of value I have received from this is a teachable moment -- which as a college professor of communication I will use: This will make an excellent case study in poor internal communication as well as how to lose customer support and brand loyalty

But the real issue is that despite Android Wear claiming compatibility with iOS, it is so limited as to really make that claim an exaggeration.

I guess you are either stuck with fibit blaze for basic notifications or mini iPhone( in name of watch) as ugly as it gets by apple on you wrest.
