I can't think of what you might think would go wrong with it, but... it has never fallen off of my camera (a Logitech C920), even with me moving the camera around from time to time

A great virus protector may protect you from having a privacy breech in your webcam, but that does not mean you should not buy this product for your C920 to be safe

Got a Logitech C920 (nice pretty camera) with an ugly, scratched privacy shutter on it.

Quick summary: Cheap, junk, overpriced, if you expect it to stay in place or stay on your "compatible cam" you'd be wrong

This is a very cost-effective way to ensure that no one can be looking through your camera when you don't want them to - a must buy if you have one of the listed camera (check the model number) and care for privacy.

My webcam looks just like the ones that I guess actually fit, but I couldn't find a model number on it

The flap opens and closes protecting the lens and prevents any unauthorized viewing.

It does the job, but the cover is loose and falls back down over the camera lens after you lift it.

The open cover does not obstruct the view of the camera

It works, it doesn't take away from the look of the camera and it's cheap in price, not quality.

It worked great, very good quality, fit perfectly, it even has little cushions so you don't scratch your camera case.

Good quality, does what it is supposed to and is easy to mount (once you have it properly lined up)

The product sits perfectly and opens and closes effectively like a toilet seat

The product is overpriced for what I got

It is a great product, however, it did not come, so I had to refund and order another one

and it didn't work, so maybe it's just an inconsistent product?

In regards to that, this product completely quells that irrational fear.
