The removable microphone mounts on the left side similar to most newer headphones, but this is opposite of the Creative headphones, and I personally prefer their right side mount

It is sized well to fit adults or kids, and it has the added bonus of also working as regular headphones if you plug it into a phone, tablet or other device with an 1/8" audio output

I have used Afterglow headphones in the past ( for about 3 years now) and i really liked them
