For $70 I would recommend this wireless alarm clock speaker.

I did, however, test out the Bluetooth connection for music, and it worked just as well as some of my standalone Bluetooth portable speakers

It will fill a bedroom (sort of) and quality is OK, but you are probably not buying this because you want the sonically best sounding speaker.

The sound quality when playing music is decent- better than a lot of clock radios I have used.

Aside from that, sound quality is good enough for a bedside speaker and the convenience of wireless charging while sleeping makes up for the slow charging time.

I especially appreciated the dimmer option since I have a hard time sleeping when a clock radio display is lighting up the whole bedroom at night.
