IKURAM Kayak/Surf/Ski Roof Carrier Rack of Bilateral Premier J-Style Folding 4-in-1 for Canoe, SUP, Kayaks, Surfboard and Ski Board Rooftop Mount on SUV, Car and Truck

    • My kayaks are well within the weight limit
    • I really like that the middle part folds down and it can carry two kayaks at a time, definitely recommend purchasing if you’re up for the hassle of figuring out how to put it together yourself.
    • I have 2 kayaks, and with help from another person was able to get the first one up onto the holder, but had to have someone continuously hold the kayak upright while i fumbled around trying to get a strap around it and secured
    • The kayaks are secure and we can get to the water with no issues
    • The double kayak holder works perfect for one or two or stand up paddle board
    • Also not really good for larger SUV because getting kayaks up that high requires a lot of climbing and at least two people.
    • This is a sturdy kayak rack
    • The kayak was well supported
    • The double kayak holder works perfect for one or two or stand up paddle board
    • Other than that, they are study and hold the kayaks well
    • The rack was very easy to secure two kayaks
    • Easy to secure the kayaks and seems sturdy.
    • Work great, I have had two kayaks on them on the highway going over 80mph and no problems
    • I think the biggest issue I have is the instructions do not show at all how to properly secure the kayak once on the racks (they are well printed to show putting the frames together)
    • pretty easy to install, used it about 3 times so far a little hard to do with one person loading a kayak but overall happy with the purchase
    • This is a great kayak rack but they decided to add the capability to transport water skies and boards, and then they neglected to update the assembly instructions
    • We have 2 kayaks and it does hold both kayaks very well.
    • I never had kayaks and would have appreciated some knowledge on how to install them on my
    • I suspect if this fit properly, it would be a very good kayak rack-the quality appears to be better than some of the big names in kayak racks, and if my experience is typical, the customer service is top notch
    • Once installed (and having watched online videos of how to secure the kayaks to the vehicle) the racks worked wonderful and held both kayaks securely
    • On first install and use this seems to be a pretty decent kayak rack for the money
    • Purchased to haul 2 single sit on top kayaks on our minivan
    • Now when it comes to securing the kayaks to the brackets thats a whole different story becomes it is a PAIN IN THE BUTT
    • Once installed (and having watched online videos of how to secure the kayaks to the vehicle) the racks worked wonderful and held both kayaks securely
    • Oh I took the kayaks out to try and one almost fell off my SUV because they are a terrible design
    • This is a good kayak roof rack for my SUV
    • We carried our two kayaks about 400 miles round trip and not one issue.
    • but I've never felt like I was going to lose the kayaks in transport
    • We drove 2 hours to Channel Island and the rack kept the kayaks safe and tight
    • and I wouldn't trust them to secure the kayaks to the rack
    • Very impressive kayak carrier.
    • Buy the ones that you lay the kayaks and boards flat.
    • Reason being in order to wrap the included straps to properly secure you lr kayaks you almost have to get on top of the vehicle
    • They work great, and keep my kayak secure nicely
    • One of my favorite features is that I can drag the kayak up on the rack with the vertical beam lowered and then slide the kayak to the outside, stand it up and then erect the vertical beam and lock it in place with one hand
    • You can also use a ratchet strap to tie down two without losing the ability to keep the kayaks secure.
    • Easy to assemble, easy to install, but when I put my kayaks up on top of the jeep, if the racks are in the middle kinda hard to throw them up there, I just wish it was wider, but I like them, they look good when they fold down on top of the keep, gives it a clean look and professional look, i have one kayak fall off the jeep and scratch the side of the jeep because straps got caught on each other, so watch out and maybe get different straps, but there straps did hold up really nicely for a two hour drive going 70 on the highway, 4 out of 5 stars for the price and the quality
    • Our first trip was 3 hours away carrying 2 kayaks on both highways and bumpy back roads
    • But I almost lost my kayak on the highway
    • Had we just tied off to the carrier, I'm sure we would've lost the kayaks and possibly worse for those behind us
    • I highly recommend this double holder kayak as it is good looking as well as foldable and sturdy..super love
    • We use ratchet straps in addition to the straps provided to keep the kayaks secure.
    • I believe this will be a problem for just about any kayak and requires breaking the foams off their glue to position them so that the kayaks don’t rest on the aluminum tubes, marring the kayak when you place the kayaks on the rack
    • When putting the rack together, I installed the large rubber piece between the top clamp plate and the main frame to allow some flexibility in the amount of pressure applied against the kayak when strapping it in (extra pressure is absorbed by the rubber piece to prevent cracking the kayak by applying too much pressure)
    • These carriers do not work for transporting two heavy and wide kayaks
    • Excellent customer service, was missing a nut & bolt in the package, they shipped it out right away, no questions asked!Hard to understand instructions, but once figured out, a very sturdy, good quality kayak holder.
    • The bolts included are not the same ones pictured in the instructions, by the way, and it's very confusing as to which part goes where
