iPhoto 09 is much improved and all new features seem to work for me right out of the box.

Great new features and definitely worth the money to upgrade from the basic 08 version.

All the fancy features that you will spend hours manipulating to make a nice movie are rendered completely useless when you export the finished product to iDVD.

A few smaller bugs in the naming inthe pop-up menus show that the new features were addedquite sloppily

GEOTAGGING: this feature is so cool and totally belongs within iPhoto.

But... if you then go through your photos, you will find at least 70% of the pictures with Tom in them, either have no box around the face, or have it listed as "Unknown Face".It's a cool feature, but it's a lot of work going through 10,000 + photos

The new features of iPhoto are great... especially the face recognition

The newer versions do not include iDVD, which has some great features.

This could turn into a terrific feature

The iMovie has some great new features like slow-mo and fast speed, I like the guitar and piano lessons that come with it

Remember it is a consumer oriented package yet you will hear complaints about missing features that are best reserved for higher end packages.

Its quite a bit weaker thanthe similar feature in Google's Picasa

I upgraded to iLife09 for the great new features in iPhoto (the new layout, face recognition, GPS location, etc) and I'm very happy with those features.

The new features are limited here

The features of iMovie 09 are way better than iMovie 08.

That one feature makes almost the purchase price worth it all by itself

iLife is packed with everyday "Useful" features

Haven't used the iWeb part yet, but I also like the new features in iPhoto, like face recognition, it's not fool-proof, but I like the setup.

Apple has taken a feature from their pro video software that analyzes your video and then takes a majority of the camera shake out.

Great touch!By far my favorite feature of the new iWeb is the ability to publish to more than just MobileMe
