Now I just spin up GIMP when my needs go beyond what iPhoto can offer.iMovie - I haven't used iMovie 09 much, but older versions of iMovie were great for building simple videos out of DV footage

My daughter's Macbook would not support the OS and iLife version that most current, and Apple does not make this version available anymore, leaving 2-3 old computers without an option.

Anyway, this version of Ilife does contain IDVD, so I am very happy with it.

I needed to get this updated- well, updated for me- version of iLife to get iPhoto updated

If you liked the old version you will like this one.

i use lightroom.the price from Amazon is fantastic and if something is wrong swapping for a good version is painless

So I bought this dvd to get idvd, once I loaded it i received several updates from Apple to bring it up to the latest version available

This version was perfect for me, I have a slightly older iMac(08) and I didn't need or want the latest

In this case, I already used an earlier version of iPhoto, and wanted the newer version of iMovie, as the '08 version was terrible.

Old version is great for iWeb even though you must find a host

I only use the iPhoto app in iLife 9 and this version is so slow at loading 1000 plus image libraries, I just got frustrated

I love the latest version of iLife.

I needed this version to install on an older iMac - and it worked seamlessly

Purchased this version that was recommended and worked perfectly.

the last version of iLife will work with a PPC-based Mac
