    • The neck is perfectly adjustable.
    • The extra long neck (the hard stem is 39" and the flexible neck at straight up height is 32") gives it a height that is higher than many other such lamps I've looked at, and gives it good functionality in various uses (over the dining room table, over a sofa, etc.).
