No damage, just stopped working

one cable from a different manufacturer worked fine for one year and then died, another manufacturer's cable worked fine for two years and then died, whereas the two original cables from Apple which are many years old are still working, although the insulating outer sheath on one of them began to split/crack in multiple places

So far cable works great.

Apple's 30 pin connection seems to be a problem, but this cord is working well, so far.

Seems to be working just fine and have no difficulty with this product.

One works fine, but the other one was very poor.

Four other brands of cables including the two original Apple cables and three aftermarket cables work just fine with both devices.
