I originally thought that I would like the design of this case

I love the attractive design of the case itself, and it does a great job of actually keeping the phone accessible but also protected

The design is great too

They're well-designed - clean and simple - with a two-part system of the inner liner that really hugs your phone and the outer case.

The Otterbox was grippier and probably had a slightly better lip on it should the phone ever land face-down, but I just couldn't take the tradeoff in terms of how ugly and bulky it made one of the best-designed phones ever made.
