This unit is only usable (to me) with an external volume control so you can set the volume and be done with it, but that also defeats some of the benefit of being able to control the volume from your device.

The unit gets hot but not bt signal or indicating lights never tur on, so im returning this defective device...

It could be that I got a one-off defective unit, so I think I will try a replacement before completely giving up on this device (and spend more money on another solution - sigh).

The unit is very compact, about the size of a business card, and I appreciate the little stand off "feet" provided with the board
