Intel Compute Stick CS125 Computer with Intel Atom x5 Processor and Windows 10 (BOXSTK1AW32SC)

    • so I have decided to get a usb to Ethernet port / USB HUB to hard wire the internet contention and give me three usb3 ports for extras...to power my Bluetooth speaker, and connect an external hard drive for more space, 32 gigs minus the 10+ used by the operating system just fills up too fast
    • I'm just amazed that all this power is packed into what looks like an oversize USB drive.
    • there is no hard drive!
    • Its a full windows 10 computer while not having a ton of processing power it works perfect for simple web browsing and Acting as a hub for my external hard drive to store backups of photos, movies, documents.
    • I tried it with a couple of Seagate Backup Plus Portable 4TB drives, and neither one would connect via USB 3.
    • The only additional items I needed were the keyboard/mouse, external hard drive, usb Ethernet adaptor, and usb hub.
    • Instead of several hundred or thousand dollars, I purchased this, a wireless keyboard/mouse, and external hard drive
    • The hard drive is too small and unless you are only doing web browsing and web email (forget about installing office even with a SD card its too slow)
    • Upgrading to 5 stars from 4 since the only problem I had was related to the external hard drive.
    • From an IT perspective, the unit is easy to manage, requires little maintenance, has no mechanical components (like hard drives or DVD drives), and is just about perfect for cloud-based applications
    • Using the Windows media players I am able to watch most video from the hard drive, but some videos have a tendency to pause every few seconds
    • I bought it to play movies from my Seagate 4 TB hard drive
    • Might get one if the external hard drive lags
    • The older Lenovo version does not pause while playing like this one does even from a hard drive on the high speed
    • Cons:- USB 3 won't power a 4TB hard drive.
    • I purchased a WD 1TB portable hard drive for documents and media
    • I purchased a WD 1TB portable hard drive for documents and media
    • I had a Micca, which I also loved, but the limit for that is a 2 TB hard drive and I have a lot of stuff to watch when I travel
    • not as fast as I thought.good for streaming but not perfect.
