This thing works great, but I find the button layout a bit hard to adapt to

And the best thing is I was able to set it up so that the volume button alway runs the sound bar instead of the TV.

I was able to program macros so when I select the device that I want to use (i.e. TV), it automatically changes the hub to that HDMI port too instead of having to deal with two different remotes (those of you with older TVs will understand what I am saying).One thing that I needed to do for making it easy to use was to map my TV remote's volume and mute buttons to all the other devices, so I don't have to go back to TV mode to deal with that

One thing to note, though, is while this works with the FLIRC receiver, it doesn't work properly; the signals are received spotty and some things just plain don't work (even if you override the programming of the button using the FLIRC software.

The only thing I really missed from my old universal remote was the lack of dedicated thumbs up/down and exit buttons for the Tivo, but I just mapped these to other places that made sense or to some of the generic buttons

I sort of a tech geek, so for me to praise such a device goes to show how impressive this thing is

The only complaint I have with functionality is that I used it for XBOX and it had no way to use the HOME button; I found things on line that said you should be able to do it with a certain button or even two, but nothing worked

My kids have repeatedly bashed this thing on the tile, chewed it, thrown it...and after a year of use, it remains without a single imperfection - not so much as a scratch and the case is rock solid.

Listen, this thing is incredible.

Made a quick macro so the power button always applies to the TV, then sets the remote to control the AppleTV.I honestly never thought I'd write a review for a remote, but this thing is pretty great, and my life has clearly taken a turn for the less exciting, so here we are.
