Cracked the screen on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

The same issue is occurring with the new unit and this time a drop of my phone from the unit to my vehicle's console cracked the screen on my phone.

Before it broke my screen I would give it a 5 star as I did like it, but after it broke my screen I would give a -5 if I could

The screen is bright and it will at least maintain a charge if you're navigating.

The screen also dims considerably (this is also temperature controlled).

I hate the curved screen.

But my Kyocera Duraforce Pro tries a little too hard to charge, and ends up having to abort (and dim the screen) after about 45 minutes of driving.

The eject claps are so strong that without a cover could break your screen

I have put it into the mount, with and without a case and did not have it close so strongly as to damage my screen

If you have a note 8 or a Samsung Galaxy S8 or S9 just make sure you have a decent case and you won't have to worry about it cracking your screen
