I do not believe it says it will protect the phone, but I was disappointed with just how poorly it did.

Definitely not going to protect your phone, but the colors and images are accurate to the actual product.

They are thick enough to help absorb the shock of drops but thin enough not to feel bulky if like me you vary your phone in your pocket.
