it's does protect your phone if dropped, but the plastic cracked at the seam after 6 months and discolored to a yellowish tinge.

I love how easily I can take it on and off and clean my phone underneath.

This case to me is very subtle and gives more emphasis to the phone than a big bulky case would and yet it protects the phone the way it's supposed to.

It's not going to protect your phone from a fall straight onto the concrete, but if it lands on its back on hardwood/tile floors or carpet you should be fine

The backside of the cover has raised corner tabs elevating the phone, I'm assuming this is to prevent any liquid that might come in contact with the phone when you put it down
