When my cell phone battery started draining much more rapidly than it should, it was time to get a portable battery until I can buy a new cell phone in a few months.

The only reason this isn't a 1 star rating is that it is a good battery and can still charge my husband's iPhone.

My Anker portable batteries seem to charge my phone faster as well, although that's subjective and may be because I had to use a dock extender adapter to even fit the Jackery cable into my iPhone.

The battery itself still works but seems to defeat the purpose of buying a battery bar with built in cables if I have to carry around a cable...

In addition, the location and angle of the built-in lightning cable does not allow for ergonomic placement of the phone (if it actually fit with the case on); i.e. you cannot stack the iPhone on the battery3) separate micro-USB cable required to recharge the portable battery - inconvenient; the built in micro-USB cable should be able to unplug and into a USB socket to recharge instead of needing a separate cable.

Long lasting battery is good for about 2 full charges of my iPhone 7 plus
