Like others have said, it's "slippery" enough to slip into a pocket easily, but gives a decent grip when using it.

I like to carry the phone in my shirt pocket and the material used has a great "grip"

I returned it because it didn't give me the solid, blocky grip on the sides like I'm used to but was rather smoothed
