It does not slide around, which is a plus, but the brackets that hold up the phone are rubber and they cannot support the phone unless you lay your phone down horizontally.

It does support my phone or my tablet just fine tho.

I use my GPS as well as my phone (for WAZE) and ended up using a CD slot holder for the GPS and the IPOW for my phone because I wanted it more in my line of sight to see upcoming warnings with WAZE.

It doesn't seem shaky if you lay the phone horizontally, but if you put it up vertically the phone shakes little, this would disrupt video quality if someone tries to record a video.

i don't trust my phone in them as they don't stay on the dash and fall all over the place.

However, the phone falls out of the holder if turning a corner or stopping quickly.
